About Me

I spent decades working in a variety of business sectors, from banking, to SME and Large Corporates, for organisations including WGZ Bank, Anglo Irish Bank and Novell Inc; among others. During my time with these firms, I drove profit through prudent treasury investment and management, asset and liability management (ALM), origination, deal structuring, sales and marketing with year on year increases on multi-billion-dollar portfolios.


While, Corporate Treasurer for the EMEA region at Novell Inc (US Nasdaq listed), I significantly increased returns and profitability on a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of 26 businesses achieved through treasury investing, M&A, funding, tax optimisation, risk, debt financing, cash flow management.

 

As part of my role in a number of private equity backed SME and Large Mid-Market firms, I successfully grew businesses optimising sales, marketing and product / service development functions.

 

Most recently, I originated and was involved in structuring large (multi-billion) $ deals in real assets (real estate and natural resources) and securing investment commitments.


Following these successes, I launched Karlsrock to meet the demand from business owners, investors and real asset holders who want to increase their growth and returns using proven strategies.

Combined, this background and practical experience heavily contribute to the core service offering of Karlsrock, but my personal success in this space has allowed for my more diversified interests to develop in education, philanthropy and sport.

I regularly participate, give to and champion causes and charities supporting disadvantaged groups through positive change in Ireland, United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and Asia.
